We are NotchUp Edu Private Limited, an Indian registered company. At NotchUp Community, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for the members of NotchUp Community with regards to the information that they shared and/or collect in NotchUp Community. This policy does not apply to any information collected offline or via channels other than this website. By using our community platform, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.

  • Information you provide to us directly. We may collect personal information, such as your name, address, telephone number, date of birth, social media profiles, and e-mail address when you register for our Service, sign up for community membership, sign up for the mailing list, or otherwise communicate with us. We may also collect any communications between you and NotchUp Community and any other information you provide to NotchUp Community.

 

  • Data collected through the use of the Service. We collect information about how you use the Service, your actions on the Service, and content you post to the Service, including the groups you belong to, your interaction with others on the Service, and content you post to the Service, and any content you provide through messages, blogs, or other functionality ("User Content"). Please remember that NotchUp Community may, but has no obligation to, monitor, record, and store User Content to protect your safety or the safety of other users, to assist with regulatory or law enforcement efforts, or to protect and defend our rights and property. By using the Service, you consent to the recording, storage, and disclosure of such communications you send or receive for these purposes.

We have set out below, in a detailed format, a description of all the ways we plan to use Users’ personal information

 

  • To register Users as a User

  • To manage our relationship with User which will include Notifying Use about changes to our terms or Privacy Policy

  • To use data analytics to improve our services, customer relationships, and experiences and to personalize our services

  • To make suggestions and recommendations to User about services that may be of interest to users and to provide Users with information, products, or services they request

  • To deliver the Services to Users (including by recognizing users across the devices they use, and providing, maintaining, tailoring, and improving website and services)

  • Profile and Data Sharing Settings: You may update your profile information, such as your email and password, and may change some of your data sharing preferences on your Account Preferences page.

  • Access to your Device Information: You may control the mobile app’s access to your device information through your “Settings” app on your device.

 

  • How to control your communications preferences: You can stop receiving promotional email communications from us by clicking on the “Manage email settings” provided in such communications. We make every effort to promptly process all unsubscribe requests. You may not opt-out of service-related communications (e.g., account verification, transactional communications, changes/updates to features of the Service, technical and security notices).

 

  • Modifying or deleting your information: If you have any questions about reviewing, modifying, or deleting your information, or if you want to remove your name or comments from our Service or publicly displayed content, you can contact us directly at community@notchup.co. We may not be able to modify or delete your information in all circumstances. To request deletion of the personal information we have collected in connection with your NotchUp Community, please select the “Delete Account Permanently” option after logging into your account in Account details.

If you are located in the EU or Switzerland, you have the following rights in respect of the data that we hold:
 

  1. Right of access. The right to obtain access to your personal data.

  2. Right to rectification. The right to obtain rectification of your personal data without undue delay where that personal data is inaccurate or incomplete.

  3. Right to erasure. The right to obtain the erasure of your personal data without undue delay in certain circumstances, such as where the personal data is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which it was collected or processed.

  4. Right to restriction. The right to obtain the restriction of the processing undertaken by us on your personal data in certain circumstances, such as where the accuracy of the personal data is contested by you, for a period enabling us to verify the accuracy of that personal data.

  5. Right to portability. The right to portability allows you to move, copy or transfer personal data easily from one organization to another.

  6. Right to object. You have a right to object to processing based on legitimate interests and direct marketing.

This section applies to you if you are a resident of the state of California. For purposes of this section, “personal information” has the meaning provided by the California Consumer Privacy Act (the “CCPA”) and does not include information that is publicly available, that is de-identified or aggregated such that it is not capable of being associated with an identifiable consumer or device, or that is excluded from the CCPA’s scope.

  1. Right to Know. You have the right to request to know more about the specific pieces or categories of personal information we have collected, the categories of data sources, and the categories of third parties with whom we have shared the personal information for a business or commercial purpose in the last 12 months.

  2. Right to Request Deletion. You have the right to request the deletion of personal information that we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.

  3. Right to Opt-Out of Personal Information Sales. You have the right to direct us not to sell (as such term is defined by the CCPA) the personal information we have collected about you to third parties.

  4. Right against Discrimination. You also have the right to be free of discrimination for exercising these rights. However, please note that if the exercise of these rights limits our ability to process personal information (such as in the case of a deletion request), we may no longer be able to provide you with the Service or engage with you in the same manner.
     

To request to exercise your right to know and/or right to deletion, please submit a request by emailing community@notchup.co with the subject line, “California Rights Request.” We will need to verify your identity before processing your request, which may require us to request additional personal information from you or require you to log into your account if you have one. In certain circumstances, we may decline or limit your request, particularly where we are unable to verify your identity or locate your information in our systems, or as permitted by law. 

 

Minors. We do not sell the personal information of consumers we know to be less than 16 years of age unless we receive affirmative authorization (the "Right to Opt-In") from either the minor who is between 13 and 16 years of age or the parent or guardian of a minor less than 13 years of age.

NotchUp Community does not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 13 on this Service. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under age 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
