Technology can bring about amazing changes in the world, our lives and our societies if used correctly and efficiently, believe me when I say this, YOUR child possesses the potential to unlock countless opportunities and ways to bring about a positive change in the world and the best way to help your child get started on this incredible journey is by teaching him how to code from an early age.

Coding is a skill for the future, you might not be aware of this fact but everything from your washing machine to your mobile phone is programmed to work in a certain way and perform various tasks that help you in your day to day life, isn't that amazing?

According to various studies, there are going to be around 60 million new jobs created by artificial intelligence as soon as 2022. It is going to be the most in-demand job in the near future if it isn't already!

The World Economic Forum in one of their reports have clearly stated that creative and critical thinking are amongst the top 5 skills required for the top jobs in today's world and basically this applies to every field. Coding therefore is the best way to enhance and teach your children these very very crucial skills which will help them big time throughout their life.

Why should my child learn how to code at an early age?

Now coming to the point let's see why your kid needs to start learning how to code early and how it’s going to help your child. We are all aware that 90 Percent of a child's Brain Develops by Age 5 and those are their formative years, their brains learn to grasp everything and become sharper whatever values and habits you instil in them and whatever skills you teach when they are small will remain with them for life!

According to research, there is a rapid increase in neural connections in the brain, the brain activity happens at a blistering pace when the child is small and what parents do with their children when they are small is very important as it affects their intelligence, temperament and personality as well, the more you use this important time in your child's formative years to instill the best values and habits in him the better and smarter he/she will become.

Kids are always curious about different things and they keep asking questions, so instead of just telling them how, why don't we just make them capable of figuring it out on their own. Teaching them how to code at an early age will do just that! It will make your kid smarter, sharper and capable of figuring things out on his/her own.

Coding has some amazing benefits and positive effects on kids. Coding as mentioned above makes your kids smarter and sharper and according to various scientific studies, there is a 75% increase in logical and abstract thinking skills of kids who code.

Coding teaches them how to analyze and break down a certain problem and then fix it using their skills. It helps them to think better and find different ways to tackle a particular problem, they become extremely efficient at problem-solving and this not only helps them later on in their professional lives but also helps them to tackle and fix their day to day life problems as well.

Coding teaches kids how to come up with a solution and build something that would fix or eradicate the problem totally, this indeed helps them to become capable of coming up with or building various effective solutions for the problems that exist in our societies or the world. It helps them THINK BIG!

By learning how to code your kids will learn how to create something that actually works in real-time and it will make them think outside the box, it also teaches them perseverance and teaches them to keep trying again and again until their creation or the solution of a particular problem they are looking for actually works. It is not only helpful in making them smarter and sharper in a studious sense but also helps them explore their creative sides which is extremely important if one wants to create something.

Big names who started coding early and their achievements

Many big names in the world of tech like Elon Musk, Bill Gates etc had all started coding at a very young age, Elon Musk taught himself how to code at the age of 12 and then once he learned how to code he used his knowledge and created a video game and then sold it for $500! Later he went on to become the founder of various companies.

He co-founded zip2, which was a web software company along with his brother, which he later sold for a huge amount. After zip2 he founded X.com, which was an online bank, it merged with cofinity in the year 2000, and then he sold this company as well again making a lot of money out of it.

In May 2002, Musk founded SpaceX, an aerospace manufacturer and space transport services company, he is the CEO and lead designer of SpaceX right now as of 2020. He joined Tesla Motors, an electric vehicle manufacturer, in the year 2004, the year after it was founded, he became its product architect, and later went on to become its CEO in October 2008.

In 2006, he helped create SolarCity, which was a solar energy services company. In 2015, Musk co-founded OpenAI, a nonprofit research company that aims to promote friendly artificial intelligence. In July 2016, he co-founded Neuralink, a neurotechnology based company focused on developing brain-computer interfaces and stuff. That's not it In December 2016, Musk founded The Boring Company, an infrastructure and tunnel construction company focused on tunnels optimized for electric vehicles. Some really cool So today Elon Musk is everywhere and in every field. And he has been able to achieve all this because he knew how to code and he thinks out of the box, since he started to code early his mastery over the art of coding grew along with him and by the time he was an adult he was an absolute genius and look where he has reached today. He didn't have anyone to guide him or teach him how to code yet he never gave up and mastered it himself but if he can achieve so much just imagine how much more your child and achieve and what wonderful impacts he/she can have on the world, if your child is taught properly and receives good guidance from a tender age!
